OUR PROCESS

It’s not by accident when a project comes together seamlessly. 

No matter the service, our millwork solutions are tailored to function as part of the full project build: on time, on budget and within scope. We’ll provide the same Black Point service that you can trust, managing each project’s particulars and communicating with you the whole way through.

1 — Planning + Designing

This is the most important phase; complex projects require detailed planning. This stage includes budgeting, collaborating to find solutions to unique design requirements, finalizing 2D and 3D conceptual drawings with input from the project team, and project scheduling.

2 — Sourcing

Established relationships with both local and international suppliers ensure we have timely access to high quality hardwoods, hardware and custom products. We’ll provide material samples to make sure we get it right and ensure sign-off before moving forward.

3 — Fabricating

We work in-house, as well as with CNC machining and finishing companies to bring projects to life. 

4 — Installing

This often happens in several strategic phases to create the required result and keep the overall build on schedule. Communication and coordination with the full project team, including subtrades, is key. Our installs are meticulous.

5 — Follow Up

Once installation is complete, we conduct a final walkthrough with the builder or client to ensure everyone is satisfied with the final product.
